Office Memo
To: Digital Employees
From: Jon Doe,
Office AdminstratorRe: Office Security System Alert
While we switch lines from Company A to Company B, we cannot use our security system. Because we can't set the alarm system, please do not disarm the security system at any time, even if you're the first person in the office.
We are using the plan laid out below until we have the security system working again. Please read these instructions carefully, and complete each step at the end of each day:
Close and latch all windows;
Shut and deadbolt all doors including the front and three basement doors;
Secure the back door to the first floor parking lot by physically pushing it shut tightly.
We are working to fix the problem permanently as soon as possible. Until then, we are using these temporary security procedures. When we have the security system working again, we will send a memo to all employees.
Please direct your questions to Jane or me.
